This amazing festival was like stepping back in time hundreds of years or more. The location is "Phanom Rung" temple in Thailand near the Cambodian border. It takes place twice a year when the sun aligns through the stones. The festival lasts for hours and is followed by celebration by locals, participants and anyone who wants to join in. I only spotted maybe 5 or 6 western tourists when I was lucky enough to visit this amazing spectacle.
